    : ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12::-31).

    If you love Christ —you will love your neighbor and tell them about Jesus. Surely not speaking to them about Christ and they dieing and going to hell is not very loving.

  4. polopowers1 on March 14th, 2010 10:23 am

    The gospel is not synomonous with evangelism its three fold feed the poor love the BRETHREN evangelize. God has ordained His means and methods and all His elect will be saved.Loving my neighbor does not mean to save them,it could but it is not the srict definition.The good news is feeding the poor etc it is not equal to evangelism exclusive.Love is dis creet and wise evangelizing your “neighbor ” is the man on the road wouded needing food shelter etcYou went from evangelize all to love all?

  5. Spurgeon687 on March 14th, 2010 11:04 am

    The Gospel is the “Good News”. we are ALL called to love our neighbors as ourselves. If you really believe that your neighbor will die and go to hell without Christ then you will tell them about Christ. You do not have to be an vangalist preacher to do that. Yes your life should be lived as a gospel sermon and after you feed the hungry you will tell them about Christ—if you love them.

    The gospel is not synomonous to evangelism it is also feeding the poor and love for the brethren. Not all are called to be verbal evangelist. All are not called to the same works. Eph2:10 There is no work I will miss.Not everyone is zealous for the same good work neither is capability the same for zealous works.Washer forgets as well as yourself believers are not middle class Americans but mentally ill,invalid.sick and their zeal is virtuous not outward works.Works do not come before devotion

    What commision descriptions are you referreing to that Christians are not called to??

    Suggested reading regarding applicable to all Christians the calling to good works:
    Titus 2:11-15

    @polopowers1
    Amen, brother! It enlightens my heart to read those words. Keep the good fight brother, from glory to glory every day. Not that it will be easier, but Gods love will follow trough you even more to strength others at first that you also will be strengthen.

    Eph 4:1-16
    It´s all about the heart, to be the least in the Kingdom, that´s when we walk in the Spirit in faith not in our own power.

  9. polopowers1 on March 14th, 2010 1:11 pm

    @Griphen84 The gate I came through already! I know God in devotion and not by sriving works, I rest in God The more I walk with God the greater rest I find. Striving is for the immature who seek God through works not devotion.There is not one work I will fall short of completing Eph 2:10

    @polopowers1
    Many are called but few are chosen.
    It´s up to us to take our cross, every one has a calling to be holy as God is holy. Everyone is called to be Gods friend.
    But the gate is narrow and the more you want to walk with God, the hard it becomes, but the more glory in him.

    @CallmeMell
    I´m happy for that.
    Read Romans 8:31-39

    Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty! – Proverbs
    Accept Jesus as your Lord and savior – Pray this – “Jesus, Lord of Nazareth, come into my heart and take control of my life so that I may live my life thru you.” Now watch the miracles start to happen in your life and those who you pray for in the name of Jesus, Lord of Nazareth – “Give to those who beg you, love those who hate you, Pray for your enemy” – Jesus

    We were not made to strive we were not made to work thats the curse.God’s will has never been thwarted.I want you in a tent on a river too! We were made for whatever calling God put us in.Not all men are called for these commissions descriptions.

    Search your heart, turn to God. He will grant you hope and help.
    It´s not about the preacher even if paul washer has a great heart.
    Start to pray today from the depth of you heart.
    I know that the Holy Spirit will give you strength in the name of Jesus. He will guide you. Be strong in Christ my friend.

    There was a poll on the CNN site yesterday February 18th, asking people “are you more or less religious than your parents?”; 30% said “same”, 17% “more religious”, and 53% “less religious”. Mr. Washer, I hope we get rid of the likes of you quite soon.

    umm remeber when John baptized Jesus? and the disciples baptized the 3000 or when phillip baptized the eunuch? clearly baptizm is to be submerged into water…when Jesus taught nicodemus he asked can a man enter for a 2nd time into his mothers womb? clearly there is a difference.act 22:16 also,and you only recieve the spirit at baptizm.

  22. cascius7 on March 14th, 2010 7:10 pm

    The bible is clear in Acts 2: 38 “Repent AND be baptized, EVERY ONE of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

  23. cascius7 on March 14th, 2010 7:24 pm

    The scriptures are clear: Repent AND be baptized, EVERY ONE of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
