#1028 – Thermaltake V9 Black Edition Case Video Review Review
CHECK PRICES: 3dgameman.pgpartner.com “The Thermaltake V9 Black Edition Case is the top of the line in the V9 series. It comes with two massive 230mm fans and two 120mm fans which provide excellent air circulation. It has great looks and is all black. There are plenty of drive bays considering this is a mid-tower case. They include removable dust filters on all intake fans. It even comes with a tooless design for installing drives in the drive bays and cards in the expansion slots. Bang for the buck, this case rocks! Although it’s steel and plastic, not aluminum and the motherboard tray isn’t removable. Watch the video to find out more…” ~http

Theres a cooler master 230mm fan that comes with the HAF cases, dont know how to take the v9 apart though.
@mrbiggoggles314 Even though mine knocked so hard that it BROKE one of the blades so I removed the whole fan… I’m trying to find a replacement part…
@notadeala So you can just switch the top one with the door one and your fine? I was thinking about that too but didn’t know what the difference from each fan was…
If you read newegg reviews, you will see that everyone talk about the same issue, I got that knock when I turned on the computer after the build up. but what I did was push the fan in the middle to the top of the case and never happened again..
just transfered the guts of my hp into this because my old case was over heating due to my (very crappy because it over heats very easily) graphics card GTS 250 and audio card along with a power supply that had a fan on the bottom rather than back. Don’t exactly think this case was designed for such a power supply, but it was easy to trim a old shelf with a hole to fit the bottom vent. Works great so far, havent over heated. And it isnt too loud, fairly quite, this video doesnt give it justice.
it seems tht the vid card and hardrives move around a bit when usinging the quick release clips. I ended up using the screws instead.
Actually I paid $100 for mine, I thought it was kind of expensive… But like I said, Mod it to suit your needs
Sigh, i guess you get what you paid far.
Yeah I watched it…
The only problems I have is the top fan knocking and the case should have taller stands to make the PSU a little cooler.
Otherwise, I would say its a good case for me, I dont think its too flimsy or whatever.
And that video says the HD and video card are not held well, well mine are fine so I guess I got lucky with what sizes of things I got. If ya dont like it, mod it
by the way i acknowledge that isnt the black version
watch this
watch?v=GsJJ-MVdnXM
Actually, this is no lie (well part of it) The ONLY problem I have is the fan on the top ***DOES*** knock VERY hard. All the stuff about everything else I dont have a problem with….
i Think Element V is much better
this beats cm 690
nice but noisy
Not just me, Search up V9 faults on google or something like that.

He turns it on, so i’m pretty sure he tried it.
Maybe you just got a bad case, or they had a bad batch.
4 coolers?WoW!!!
Has the reviewer even tried the case yet. 23cm fan has massive issues(slams the side of the top). Bad design with the toolless screws, they simply just dont work and you still need proper screws. Paint issue on the inside and flimsy rubber on the side has been reported in several forums, fortunately mine has 1 less problem.
Great product,and the review too.
dont buy this! the fans are junk check out my video
Lol
I would laugh if some1 bought this and tried jamming their mobo into it
will a Xigmatek s1283 fit this case?
HAF 922 or HAF 932 Ftw ^^ !
